Steps to make Yummy Doughnuts:
- Take half a cup of warm water in it add 1 tsp dry yeast and 1 and a half tbsp sugar. Cover it and rest it for 10 mins. for the yeast to get activated, as shown in pic 2.
- Now take a bowl. Add the yeast solution, a pinch of salt, 1 and a half tbsp powdered sugar, mix it till the sugar gets completely dissolved. Now add 1 tbsp butter, 1 egg. Now mix all the ingredients thoroughly and lump-free. Now add a cup of maida into it and make it a soft dough, if required add warm milk little by little. Knead the dough till 15 mins to a soft dough. While kneading, add a tsp of oil and milk to make it softer, brush oil and cover it with a wet cloth for 1 and a half hours.
- After 1 and half hours, the dough will rise 3 times higher. Now again Knead it a bit and roll it to a big circle to a half-inch thickness as shown in fig 1. Cut them as shown in the pictures below.
- Now brush a plate with oil and keep the doughnuts over it. Heat oil in a kadhai and drop the doughnuts one at a time and fry them till golden brown in colour at a medium to low flame. It's done! You can enjoy it as it is or with liquid dipped chocolate.
- You can place a bowl of water for steaming and put a katori of chocolates over it to melt, add 3 to tbsp of warm milk if you need the chocolate to liquidity more, dip the donuts one-sided over the chocolate dip and ur chocolate doughnuts for kids are ready.
- Tip 1 : To liquidity chocolates do not place the chocolates directly on tawa or Kadai. The chocolates won't melt, rather it would burn.
- Tip 2 : To make the doughnuts more fluffier, after cutting, cover them all with a samp cloth for 10 mins before frying.
