- Get 1 cup Basmati rice
- Make ready 35 ml Ghee
- Get 2 small Chopped Onions
- Get 1/2 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- Take 1 tbsp Mustard

- Make ready 5 each Dry chillies
- Make ready 1 each Lemon
- Prepare 2 tbsp Ura dal

Instructions to make Lemon Rice:
- Cook the rice and keep aside to cool. Do not overcook the rice.
- Squeeze the lemon and keep the juice aside.
- Heat the Ghee in a medium flame.
- Add the mustard seeds and curry leaves when the ghee is hot.
- Add the dry chillies, ura dal and ginger. Saute it for a minute.
- Now add the chopped onions. Sweat the onions
- Pour in the lemon juice and add the tumeric powder. Mix well.
- Mix in the rice slowly. Mix it well till it gets the unique colour. Add salt to taste.
- Hold it warm to serve, garnish with chopped mint leaves.
